IN-STORE PURCHASES

Within 30 days of purchase, items acquired from retailers must be exchanged or returned to a store. It is not permitted to mail us back items that you buy in-store for a refund or exchange. An original store receipt is required for all exchanges and returns.

Returnable items at a store can be refunded using the original payment method, swapped for new merchandise, or given Store Credit.

You can ask for a store credit if you’re returning a gift and would prefer not to get your money back using the original payment method.

The original ticketing and tags must still be intact, and the item must be unused, unopened, and undamaged for it to be accepted back. Refunds for damaged or washed products are not accepted.

Merchandise tagged as “Special Occasion,” “As-Is,” or “Clearance” is final sale and may not be returned.

Items purchased at A Pea in the Pod or Destination Maternity store may NOT be returned to our leased locations within Macy’s, Buy Buy Baby, or Boscov’s.

ONLINE & TELEPHONE PURCHASES

There are 2 options available for returning items purchased from this website.

OPTION 1: RETURN OR EXCHANGE AT A STORE

  • A Pea in the Pod® products: Returns and exchanges accepted only at A Pea in the Pod® or Destination Maternity® stores.
  • Motherhood Maternity® products: Returns and exchanges accepted only at Motherhood Maternity® or Destination Maternity®

Within 30 days of the delivery date, you must return or exchange your item with your original packing slip or a copy of your email shipping confirmation.

Items must be brand-new and come with their original tags and tickets attached.

Items marked as “As-Is,” “Special Occasion,” or “Clearance” are final sales and cannot be returned.

Either store credit or the original payment method will be used for refunds.

We do not accept returns or exchanges at our Canadian store locations or at leased locations carrying our brands, Buy Buy Baby, Boscov’s, or Macy’s.

Online purchases made at Macys.com or Amazon.com need to be mailed back. There are no exchanges offered.

OPTION 2: RETURNS BY MAIL

Items returned by mail within 30 days of delivery date will be accepted for a complete refund in the original payment method (postmarked within that time frame, shipping fees excluded).

The items need to be unused and come with their original tags and/or tickets attached.

Items marked as “As-Is,” “Special Occasion,” or “Clearance” are final sales and cannot be returned.

Exchanges are not processed by us. Either either our 800 number or our website, a new order must be placed.

Swimwear, lingerie, and undergarments may be returned if they are unworn, still in their original packaging, and have the original tickets and/or tags still on them.

Please give our Returns Centre seven days to handle your return after it is received. The cost of returning unwanted items is the customer’s obligation.

  1. Please fill out this form completely.
  2. Remove the form’s bottom section and attach it to the outside of your return package.
  3. Please return your item to the following address:

REFUNDS: FULL OR PARTIAL PAYMENT USED ON GIFT CARD

Refunds for returned orders that were paid for with gift cards will be issued to the email address listed on the order as an electronic gift card.

A refund will be made for all split tender payments, first to the credit card and then to a fresh electronic gift card.

PAYPAL PURCHASES

4/7/17 – We currently do not accept PayPal as a tender type until further notice, but we are able to accept returns on previous purchases.

PayPal returns are handled by our system in the same way as regular returns. The Paypal account used to make the initial purchase is credited with the return within one to two business days of it being processed.

PayPal is not supported for exchange processing. If you would like to exchange an item that you paid for with PayPal, you will need to place a new order after returning your original item via one of the common online order return methods mentioned above.

Payments made using PayPal cannot be exchanged for gifts. PayPal refunds all returns made with that payment method back to the original PayPal account.
